They sold their house and drove 1,30,000 kms on bike in 21 countries. Yes you read it right Lisa Morris and Jason Spafford never thought while their 365 days trip that this will turn to 1628 days trip on bike. During this trip they drove from Alaska to Argentina & Bolivia to Peru and including Panama they traveled 1,30,000 kms in 21 countries.
During their trip they experienced sleeping under million stars & even witnessed the extreme cold weather in the valleys. They both got engaged in the dunes of Mexico and reinvented them selves. As of now they both are back to their home town in Britain and after a small break they have again planned to take a trip.
Lisa Morris and Jason Spafford trip costed them 65,000 Pound, which they spent by selling their house and using their saving, which collectively was approx 1,35,000 pounds, but it gave them a life time experience. Lisa says “We both were fed of from our daily routine & we both wanted a break & thought of taking a easy trip and spend these days traveling and learning new places. And then we left everything and started the trip in February 2014 on bike. We started from Argentina & then moving on to South America and the America and Canada. Along with us we took a camp, sleeping bag, cooking stuff & few eatables, 3 pairs of clothes and few medicines. We decided to spend 40 pound on lodging and food, so wherever we a economy hotel or lodge we use to stay there. We never thought that the trip that we decided for 1 year ended in 5 years, but it has changed our life and we feel our selves to be a better humans.”
